Randi has over 15 years of violin experience and is currently attending Lindenwood University studying Music Education. She plays several different genres of music including classical, gospel, bluegrass,
folk, blues, country, and classic rock. Her training has been primarily
through private classical instruction and playing in an orchestral environment. She
has had the honor of studying under Jenny-Lind Jones, a retiree of the St. Louis
Symphony, and has been in several local ensembles. Randi has
played in multiple symphonic orchestras such as Missouri Baptist University,
Lindenwood University, and the Alton Symphony. She played in several youth orchestras including the Community Music School of Webster University’s String Orchestra, Young People’s Concert Orchestra and Young People’s Symphonic Orchestra and also the St. Charles Youth Symphony. Along with classical training, she has also been a fiddle player in various bluegrass bands in the Midwest area and enjoys “jamming” in her down time. Randi’s passion for music is contagious and evident in every aspect of teaching young aspiring musicians; she feels that nothing is more fulfilling than being able to pass on knowledge of music and love of the violin. Randi is dedicated to her students and is enthusiastic about helping them flourish throughout their musical training. For her, seeing students succeed is a true joy.
