Mozingo Music offers Camps and Classes throughout the year for a wide range of ages and abilities. Whether you or your child plays guitar, drums, band instruments, orchestra instruments, sings or simply wants to learn acting, Mozingo has a class for everyone! Our music classes are primarily offered in a group format. We have been teaching in groups for many years and our students have found great success and satisfaction in the group learning environment.
Mozingo Music now offers two innovative, proven and highly successful rock band programs for kids ages 4 through 10! No previous experience is necessary. These programs introduce the young rockers to the idea of playing music in an ensemble, basic note reading, song structure, and technique. At the end of the session, these young rock bands are performing as a group! See more information about Kidzrock & Jr. Rockerz!
The Mozingo Rock University provides St. Louis Metro Area Students a rock band experience for learning and jamming together with their fellow students. Rock University is a rock band program for vocalists, guitarists, bassists, drummers, and keyboardists between the ages of 10 and 17. Students will enjoy a supportive and motivating environment in which to learn, feel inspired to excel and to help their band to victory at their next gig.
Simply Music Rhapsody offers singing, playing instruments, movement, puppets, and stories while building a foundation for future musical experiences. The program includes five different age groups – parents attend with their child. Each program is divided into four, 10-week units and has a very special kit of age-appropriate instruments so that the fun of music making can continue at home! The CDs feature the music used in class. The first CD is included in the kit and a second CD is purchased mid-year to continue the fun.
The Mission of Mozingo Center for Creative Arts is to broaden our role in the preservation, perpetuation and promulgation of the creative arts for the citizens of St. Charles County, Missouri and surrounding areas, and to offer opportunities for the innovation of and engagement in creative arts on both the local and global levels for people of all ages and abilities.
Programs run 8 to 12 weeks depending upon the program and we have performances at the end of the term for participants to showcase their work.
