Percussion Competition

The 21st Annual Mozingo Music Marching Percussion Competition will be held on Saturday, August 28, 2010, at Francis Howell North High School.
The drumline entry fee will be $115 and pre-registered solo fees will be $15. Solos that are registered the day of the competition will be $20.
It is strongly encouraged that entry forms be submitted as early as possible. If you have to wait on a district or band booster check, please send in your entry form, anyway, with a note stating that fact.
As for performance order, the top 3 places from each division, from the previous year, will play at the end of their respective classes. All other groups will have performance times based on postmarked/paid entry date. If you were in one of the top 3 places last year, but moved to a different division, your postmarked/paid entry will determine your performance time.
Also, there are a few changes for this year’s contest. The required performance times have been shortened. Please check the contest rules for the new time requirements. Along with that, the actual performance time slots will be 10 minutes apart. Finally, the non-judged warm-up time has been reduced to 1 minute.

Spectator pricing for the Marching Percussion Competition is:
$5 for adults
$3 for students
Admission is free for children under 7
